In this essential role,you'llserve as the first line of response for equipment-related issues, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of machinery throughout the facility. Based primarily in the maintenance workshop,you'llperform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and carry out preventive and emergency repairs. The role also requires mobility to respond quickly to breakdowns or safety concerns on the production floor, helpingmaintaina reliable, efficient, and compliant processing environment.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifyand apply standard symbols used in industrial documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair drive-related issues to ensureoptimalperformance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance andtroubleshoot bearingfailures.
  • Assistin motor testing, diagnostics, and basic repairs.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot electrical circuits using Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws.
  • Safely use multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
  • Execute welding operations following safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret welding symbols and applyappropriate techniquesfor repairs and fabrication.
  • Take onadditionalresponsibilities as needed to support the Maintenance and Plant Operations Teams

 

WhatYou’llNeed

  • Education:High School Diploma or GED Preferred
  • Certifications:Must be willing to obtain Lock Out/Tag Out, Pallet Jack and Forklift Certifications; if transferring from another Pilgrim’s plant,previouscertifications may still be valid if in compliance.
  • Testing:Passing the IMPACT test with a minimum score of a 40.
  • Experience:Prefer 1+ years’ experience in theMaintenance Field and basic understanding of welding and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
