Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager in North Carolina.
We are seeking an experienced
Plant Maintenance Managerto lead maintenance and reliability operations at a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing asset performance, and developing a proactive maintenance culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with expertise in maintenance, reliability, continuous improvement, and capital project execution. They will work cross-functionally to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support production objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead plant maintenance and reliability efforts, ensuring equipment availability, preventive maintenance effectiveness, budget adherence, and overall asset performance.
- Develop and coach maintenance personnel while driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven problem solving.
- Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to execute capital projects, improve equipment reliability, and reduce planned and unplanned downtime.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent maintenance leadership experience will also be considered.
- 7+ years of maintenance, reliability, or technical leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, including experience managing maintenance teams and CMMS systems.
- Demonstrated success implementing preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, TPM, or other reliability-centered maintenance programs within a regulated manufacturing environment.
