The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of facility, utilities and equipment to help ensure the producing of consistently superior quality snack products. This is done by employing process enhancing technology to reduce manufacturing costs, and utilizing value added services to maximize profitability. Results will be achieved by:
a. Working with all departments to properly train both maintenance and plant
personnel on equipment operation and safety.
b. Developing his/her team to solve their own; day-to-day operational issues.
c. Collaborating with management group to insure the continuous operation of the plant while maximizing efficiencies.
d. Preparing and functioning within an approved operating budget.
e. Developing and implementing a preventative maintenance process to reduce equipment downtime and improve equipment performance
f. Communicating daily schedules to insure the availability and organized, efficient utilization of plant facilities, materials, and personnel.
g. Setting and meeting yearly company performance goals and personal objectives.
h. Demonstrating continuous improvement in product quality, cost, and employee and personal development.
