Ground Beef Maintenance Superintendent
Position Summary
The Ground Beef Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for leading the Ground Beef Operations Maintenance Electronics Department. This role provides leadership and oversight formaintenance operations, team development, equipment reliability, and food safety initiatives while supporting continuous improvement throughout the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee overall safety for self and subordinates.
- Create and promote a food safety mindset throughout the team.
- Oversee maintenance support for daily operations.
- Oversee maintenance breakdowns and help develop rootcauseprevention plans.
- Support the processes and policies established by the Maintenance Department and company policies.
- Ensure planned preventive maintenance work ordersare completedin a timely manner.
- Provide coaching and development for team members to support succession planning and strengthen the department.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure shift events and key informationare communicatedeffectively during shift transitions.
- Create and audit procedures for preventive maintenance work orders.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years offood industry maintenance experienceor equivalent.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Above-average computer proficiency.
- PLC troubleshooting, editing, and programming experience required.
