Quality Engineer - HVAC\/Power\/Structural Steel

• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices
• AWS D1.1 certification, certified welding Inspector, preferably but not mandatory.
• NACE certification (Level II or III), preferably but not mandatory.
• Rotating equipment knowledge, preferable but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering, construction and inspection.
• Computer literate -proficiency with MS Office, Email, PDF, document management software (e.g. Adept).
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and highly organized.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Have a positive self-starting and proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential quality issues before they arise and implement effective preventative measures.
• Ability to work independently and collectively within a project team (site or office)
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Proficient with dimensional inspections.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development, with a willingness to stay up to date with the latest quality control, certifications and assurance principles and practices
