Meat Processing & Packaging FacilityWe are seeking an experienced, hands-on
Production Supervisorto lead our day-shift operations in a fast-paced meat processing environment. This position is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring food safety and quality standards are maintained, meeting production goals, and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, or protein production and is comfortable managing teams in a temperature-controlled production environment.

Essential Responsibilities- Supervise and lead production team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety standards.
- Monitor product quality, yields, labor efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Conduct daily production meetings and communicate expectations clearly.
- Train, coach, and develop production employees and team leads.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate staffing levels to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse departments.
- Investigate and resolve production, quality, and employee issues.
- Complete production reporting and documentation accurately and timely.
Qualifications- 3+ years of supervisory experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, poultry, protein processing, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and food safety requirements.
- Experience managing production metrics, labor utilization, and operational performance.
- Ability to lead teams of 20-100+ employees.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Preferred Experience- Fresh or further-processed meat production.
- High-speed food processing operations.
- Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience working with automated production equipment.
