HR & Safety Manager - Building Materials

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken, sufficient to lead investigations and disciplinary conversations without an interpreter. Both languages are assessed during the interview process.
• Experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar broad HR role, handling employee relations, investigations, and corrective action from start to finish.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and Form I-9.
• Experience with an HRIS (Workday a plus) and Microsoft 365, including Excel for sorting, filtering, formulas, and basic reports.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and strict confidentiality.
• Safety or workers' compensation experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• HR experience in manufacturing, construction, or another production environment.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
