POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for daily reliability tasks.
Responsible for preventative maintenance.
Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics according to the immediacy and necessity of orders.
Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.
Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment.
Participate in the HAZMAT team to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance.
Arrange for completion of required paperwork, such as payroll.
Monitor and maintain the refrigeration equipment, production equipment, and boiler systems through routine checks, lubrication of equipment, and repair/replacement of parts as needed.
Maintains appropriate records and reports.
Complies with all OSHA and company safety standards and policies
Attend meetings as scheduled.
WORK CONDITIONS
Work 40+ hours per week on the production floor, including weekend work and rotating shifts as needed.
Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objects (knives), machinery, and vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3-5 years of background experience in general industrial maintenance
General knowledge of machinery in a plant that applies to the industry
Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual preferred, not required.
Ability to prioritize activities.
Capable of providing leadership/motivation to engage employees in the business.
Strong computer skills.
