Job Description:
- The Raw Blender Operator is responsible for mixing ingredients, loading raw materials into blending equipment, maintain inventory records, and ensuring equipment and work areas remain clean and sanitary. This position works in a poultry processing environment and supports production operations by preparing ingredients blends used in product manufacturing. Operators may use forklifts, mechanical lifts, spice bins, scales, and other production equipment.
Qualifications:
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before entering the production area.
- Retrieve, measure, and mix dry and liquid ingredients according to production specifications.
- Transport ingredients using spice bins, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Load ingredients into blending equipment and hoppers.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ingredient usage records.
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs.
- Clean blenders, equipment, and work areas using approved sanitation procedures.
- Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards.
- Life and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Push loaded spice bins requiring up to 65 pounds of force.
- Frequent use of both hands for handling material and operating equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
