What does it mean to be part of the Transportation Administration team?
Our Transportation Administrator team is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties and providing support to the Transportation Department. Some of their responsibilities and functions are to review and set new customer accounts on designated master routes while working closely with our Business Analysis Supervisors to keep required 5-day customer set-ups current. They should review, apply and maintain new and existing accounts as it pertains to our electronic logging systems such as Roadnet, Peoplenet and Cooltracks databases as well as an abundance of additional responsibilities that align with the internal DC and external customer relations staff.

Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Process customer orders through internal computer system to provide workload to warehouse.
Facilitate communication between transportation departments and other departments.
Dispatch loads to carriers and monitors load progress.
Preparation of Route Manifests, route packet, and net invoicing customer orders.
Sort and distribute paperwork as needed.
Answer phones to obtain information for incoming visitors and drivers.
Check in drivers, provide instructions, and process paperwork.
Complete any other assigned duties.
Be able to multitask in fast-paced environment.
Background check needed to approve pharmacy vendor and retail orders.r
Job Requirements:
Understanding of Safety guidelines.
Strong knowledge of applicable computer system functions.
Understands procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent communication/decision-making skills.
Ability to interact with all departments and all levels of management.
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Incumbents may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, file, grasp and fine manipulation; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbents may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
