Position purpose: Tag and Scan finished pallets and operation of Auto palletizing equipment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dedicated line pulling activities for finished goods palletized products
- Operation of Auto Palletizing Equipment
- Responsible for all material labeling/scanning requirements of finished goods pallets
- Confirm order / product completion & condition
- Loading of pallets onto shuttle trucks or proper warehouse locations
- Safe operation of shrink wrappers
- Safe and proficient fork lift operation
- Forklift battery changing maintenance
- Assist with hand palletizing as needed
- Assist with operations of automatic palletizers as needed
- Provide support and training to packaging operators to ensure pallet pattern configuration and paperwork is accurate
- Lunch and break relief as needed
- Report all problems immediately to the supervisor
- Maintain all work areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Performs all work in a safe, efficient and cooperative manner
- Perform any other work duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Moderate on the job training.
